Padang Golf Halim 2

Indonesia, and especially Jakarta, boasts some of southeast Asia's finest golf courses. Jakarta itself, claims to be the most populated golf city in SE Asia...and its easy to believe. For a nation that has never faced a modern war, its quite interesting to find out that each branch of the military is not only active with bases and training facilities, but also maintains and operates their own golf courses.

Today was "Padang Golf Halim 2" - Halim 1 is a similar "Air Force" course, and Halim 3 is the famed and world renowned "Royale Jakarta Golf Club" - Military cargo planes keep the sky occupied as you try to navigate a very long, east coast style tree lined course with multiple 450+meter dog legs (along with space ships). Rain moved in and ended the day early (just as we were going for our first pars).
